Standard Steel Car

• Description; Heavy nickel plated pressed brass threaded hub cap for a Standard automobile built in Butler, Pennsylvania by the Standard Steel Car company between the years of 1914 and 1923. The cap has a brass or stainless insert which I believe was the same emblem used on the Radiator and most of these end up in emblem collections. The emblems on these cars show Pittsburg even though the cars were built in Butler. The factory was later acquired by American Austin.
• Size; The cap has an outside diameter of 2 ¾” and is 1 5/8” high with 2 9/16”-16 threads
